Privacy policy

At Hourglass, we collect the bare minimum. This page explains simply which data passes through the site, why, and what your rights are (in line with the GDPR and French data protection law).

1. Who is responsible?

The website hourglasscoach.com is published by Camille (Hourglass), who acts as data controller. For any question or request about your data, write to us via the Contact page.

2. Which data is collected, and why?

The coaching application. The questionnaire is filled in inside your browser, then opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message: you are the one who sends it. Your answers are not stored on the site; they are read only by Camille, to prepare your conversation, and are never shared.

The contact form. It opens your email app: your message travels from your inbox to ours. Your details are used only to reply to you.

Purchasing the program. Payment is handled by our secure payment provider, on its own page: the site never stores or even sees your banking details. The provider passes us your email so we can send you the program and your receipt.

The newsletter. If you subscribe, your email is used only to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Technical data. Like any website, our host (WP Engine) generates technical logs (IP address, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running properly.

3. Cookies

The site uses no advertising cookies, no trackers and no third-party analytics. That is why you see no cookie banner here.

4. Who has access to your data?

Camille, and no one else. Technical providers (the host, the payment provider, the newsletter tool, WhatsApp for the conversations you initiate) process only what their service requires. Your data is never sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.

5. For how long?

Conversations (WhatsApp, email) are kept for the duration of the coaching and of legal obligations; purchase records, for as long as the law requires; your newsletter email, until you unsubscribe; the host's technical logs, twelve months at most.

6. Your rights

You can at any time request access to, rectification, deletion or portability of your data, or object to its processing: simply write to us via the Contact page. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, hosted at WP Engine (with backups and a firewall), and payment follows our provider's banking standards. No sensitive data is stored by the site itself.

8. Updates

This policy may evolve as the site evolves (for instance, if an analytics tool were ever added, it would be listed here, with your consent requested where required). Last updated: September 2026.
